Reykjavik

The other day, I decided to go ahead and do a last minute world adventure before school starts (I had originally planned on doing South America with some of the BMEs, but that, for whatever reason, never got off the ground). So, for the past couple of days, I've been spending a lot more time than I care to disclose on Lonely Planet, trying to identify countries that I'd want to hit (both for this trip and in the future). And I can only say that there are a lot of countries that I want to visit.

A lot.

Maybe it's just because I'm so indecisive, I don't know, but damn. I think I've settled on Iceland, however. It's off the beaten path, so it shouldn't be too busy, and I can get my ticket for about $1000. Of course, I can also find my way to London for around $700, which is about how much I paid last time. If I went that route, though, I'd definitely book a ticket to Spain. They got left off during my last trip. Ack, too many choices. I guess I better go make them now...

EDIT #1: I just looked at lodging in Iceland...damn it's expensive! Hostels are almost as much as some hotel rooms in the States! Hmmm, this might require some reconsidering...

EDIT #2: Yea, Iceland is out. London, Barcelona, Prague, Istanbul, and Florence/Venice (haven't decided between the two, though I might cut out Italy and spend some extra time in the other cities) are in! Nows all I gotta do is buy the tickets...
